Sponsor a CCT Child
The Foster Parent Program
CCT’s Foster Parent Program ensures we provide all children with a sustainable and bright future. Each child is partnered with only one Foster Parent or couple, so that the relationship between Foster Parent and child is more personal and can be built over time. Becoming a Foster Parent to one of CCT’s children involves providing for their primary needs on a monthly basis. The cost of full sponsorship depends entirely on the individual child and their needs. The costs are broken down into the following categories:
- Food per month
- Medical treatment including daily multivitamins per month
- School Materials
- Clothes
- Private home tutoring in Maths, Khmer and English
- Art class
- Sports training
The cost of becoming a Foster Parent to one child currently ranges between US$100 and US$150 per month.
Within this program, any leftover money or additional donations made for special occasions like birthdays, Cambodian celebrations etc, are deposited into the Saving For Their Futures Program. Communication between Foster Parent and child is encouraged, so photos, letters and a report on their progress will be sent.

The Foster Auntie/Uncle Program
Becoming an Auntie/Uncle involves covering any surplus costs that arise for your fostered child every month that are not covered by their Foster Parents. If no surplus costs arise the funds will be used for the benefit of all the children at CCT or deposited into the Saving For Their Futures Program.
Each CCT child is matched with three Foster Aunties/Uncles to develop a secure support base for every child. Communication between a Foster Auntie/Uncle and child is encouraged and letters and photos will be sent from the children.
The cost of becoming a Foster Auntie/Uncle to one child is currently AUD$49/Month. This is a set cost for all children at CCT.

Saving for their Futures Program
The “CCT – Children’s Savings Account” has been set up to provide CCT’s children with security for their futures.
How does it work?
The “CCT – Children’s Savings Account” is set up as a savings account with ANZ Royal Cambodia. Attached to this account are individual personal savings accounts for each child.
As Sponsors you are then able to use this account for any additional donations you wish to give for Christmas, Buddha's Birthday, Lunar New Year, Birthdays or any special occasion.
All donations are then distributed equally among the children. We feel this is the fairest way. This is of course optional and not part of the standard Foster Parent Program.
What happens to the money?
Children will only be able to access funds donated into the “CCT – Children’s Savings Account” when they are ready to graduate from CCT and begin living their lives independently.
When this time comes the children will be given advice about the best ways to use their savings to benefit their future. This will be different for every child. The funds may go towards options such as tertiary education, capital for starting a small business or living costs while completing an apprenticeship.
