CCT Children's Home
Daily life for the children at the CCT Children's Home ensures they are healthy, happy, and getting a good education. The children are cared for by House Parents who create a warm, loving and safe environment for the children, meeting all of their emotional and physical needs. In addition, we have paid and voluntary staff who provide the children a variety of other life skills as well as home school tutoring.
The children’s schedule is demanding. They have a six day school week in which a lot of their spare time is taken up with homework and extra-curricular studies, such as music, art and physical education. But on Sundays, we often take the children out on excursions in town, allowing them to socialise within the Battambang community, have fun and explore their world.
CCT is helping these children to break free from the cycle of poverty and avoid the hardships that blighted the lives of their parents. The kids have earned great admiration from staff with their determination to leave behind their often tragic pasts and focus instead on their dreams for the future.
